The New Oracle CX integrated Content Management Platform

With the End of Life of Oracle CX Content Dec 2025 - the Fishbowl Solutions team have been working closely with the Oracle CX teams to help empower CX Sales, Marketing (Eloqua & Responsys) and Commerce with a new Enterprise Content Platform (CM BOX) designed to bring the power of Oracle WebCenter Content and provide key features that help to fill the gaps of content delivery that OCM supported for CX.

What comes OOTB?

A new version controlled email builder and templating platform designed from the ground up for Eloqua and Responsys (and Taleo support coming soon), an integrated Redwood CX Sales content dashboard with generative AI(RAG); a new content commerce delivery platform featuring a new high performance commerce template alongside all the core features of an Enterprise CMS/DAM platform.

With CM Box enabling easy management of assets integrated with Netsuite for supporting order management and inventory with an optional addon for predictive AI modelling and dashboards available from Querri.

💡
Additionally a much requested feature from customers is Canva integration - which the team are actively investigating to let you create your marketing collateral and export, store manage and edit those assets for CX Cloud from CM Box to help empower the creativity of your marketing teams.

What is CM Box?

CM Box is Fishbowl Solutions answer to Enterprise Content Management and a new Built on Oracle Cloud Native platform that helps Oracle Content Management customers to continue using the features they have enjoyed with OCM without the need to worry about investing time and money into transitioning content to a new CMS/ DAM cloud platform and the costs associated with training  & development involved with migration.

💡
Webcenter Content provides additional benefits to CM Box such as workflows, records management, capture and more..
CM Box Is a new content platform designed to replace OCM and enhance Oracle WebCenter Content and Oracle Cloud Services.

Introducing (O)CM Box: A Revolutionary Cloud-Enabled Content and Document Management Platform
💡Yesterday Oracle officially announced - OCM End of Service 2025. You can read more on it here Embrace the Future Beyond Oracle Content Management’s End-of-Service in 2025 Not to worry.... I’ve been closely working with the Fishbowl Solutions team on their new Cloud-Enabled Content and Document M…

The Benefits:

One click transfer

Transfering your Content and Security configurations from OCM involves a simple one click approach - there is no recreating assets, moving users this is all handled by CM Box.

Content migration time

With CM Box in the cloud transfer time is based on the network connection if deployed to OCI it takes a matter of hours for Terabytes of data to be moved instead of days - if you are using a different cloud platform such as Azure then its all dependant on the connection between Oracle and Azure.

Familiar UX

OCM was the inspiration for the new CM Box User Experience following the same design approaches as the Award Winning Redwood UX Patterns to deliver a clean and familiar and improved experience to content management.

Architecture patterns and APIs

If you are a developer creating headless apps, the same core content model and base Graph API layer is provided enabling the ability to allow you to migrate and simply repoint you app with very few tweaks and adjustments - no need for a complete rewrite or rewiring of your existing integrations.
